Hi There! My name is Anna McBride! I am the artist behind Anna McBride Artwork. (funny how that works huh?) it's my pleasure to have you here, and I hope to bring some joy into your life through my paintings.

I am a wife to an incredible, hard-working, dad joke-telling, I wish I was fishing, amazing cook, one -of- a kind, husband, ( we met when we were 18 and I'm 32 now!) and a mom to one beautiful chicken-chasing, dog-wrestling, artwork-making, song-singing, sweet little daughter.
​
I live in the mountains of western Maine and feel very lucky to have extreme beauty all around me.
​
The sheer loveliness of Maine keeps me inspired and makes it easy to paint a wide variety of landscapes.
​
If I am not painting I may be walking in the woods, reading books, writing, playing games with my husband and daughter, spending time with my friends, singing, pretending to be a fish in the pool, trying to act like I am a good cook (but that title goes to my husband), dreaming of traveling the world, missing the warm waters of Hawaii or hanging with our two dogs, more specifically pulling our shoes out of the puppy's mouth.

About the artwork
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the artwork and what I have to offer!

I create landscape paintings with either acrylic or oil paints. This is my comfort zone and what I am best at. However, as time passes I will be branching out into still life and animals.
​
​
Each painting that I create is a one-of-a-kind original piece of art. That is my favorite thing about art!
Yet I understand that original pieces can be expensive so I will start prints of my work soon.
​
I am more than happy to take commissioned work As this is the bulk of my business!
If you have a landscape photo you have taken and want it turned into a painting please e-mail it to me and we can discuss details via e-mail.
If you don't have a specific photo you want to use but do have an idea of a landscape you would like painted we can discuss this as well.
Pricing varies on canvas size, time spent painting, and the level of detail in your photo/or imagined painting.
